Raider wrestlers at the Devaney Center for the Huskers vs. Oklahoma State dual! It’s been a great start to the season for both teams! Excited for the second half of the year!

A BIG thank you to all of the Letter Club athletes, coaches, sponsors, & parents who assisted with the Dan Mowinkel Invitational yesterday. There is so much behind the scenes work going on to make this event a success. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who helped put on a great tournament Saturday. It takes a lot of people doing a lot of things to run an event like this, and the Dan Mowinkel Invite is run as well as any tournament around. The LV boys wrestled hard, earning 4th place in our home invite — just 8.5 points out of 2nd — against a field that included 7 ranked Class B and C teams. This is a tough tournament and the boys had to fight today! Proud of the way all of our Raiders competed! Placers for the Raiders:

Great job to this team today! walking away with bronze medals are Willow Geiger, Kim Poast (also recording her very first varsity win), Mona Schultz, Grace Beckwith, Bre Meyer and Rhema Johnson. Our champion of the day at 190 is Katrina schreiner. As a team these girls set a new high for points scored in a tournament for a 3rd place finish. great job girls and good luck to all teams competing tonight and tomorrow! Go Raiders
