We are excited to introduce you to some new staff joining us next school year. First up is Celena Mortimer, who will be serving the Raider community in 2nd Grade. Help us in giving her a warm welcome!

Runner-Up finish at the District Wrestling Tournament today for the LV boys! District 3 was a really tough tournament featuring four ranked Class C teams (#2, #6, #11, and #15) along with a lot of other quality competition. Our guys competed hard all day. Proud of the way this team battled and represented our program. The Raiders qualified five wrestlers for the State Tournament next Thursday–Saturday, putting five in the finals! 2025–26 Raider State Qualifiers:
Drake – 138 – 2nd
Marcus – 144 – 2nd
Jett – 175 – 2nd
Tregan – 190 – 2nd
Crew – 215 – 2nd Great job, boys. Let’s keep it rolling next week!

The boys split with the JV winning 72-50 and the Varsity falling 53-66.

Some tickets have been punched to the state wrestling tournament with more still with a chance coming through the heart break rounds!

Congratulations to the Raider JH Girls Basketball team on their wins over Cedar Bluffs! Nice work!

The boys drop a tough one against the Panthers 42-65.

Girls varsity fights hard but falls to the Panthers 51-61.

JV and Varsity girls both come away with wins against Boys Town tonight! Back in action on parents night tomorrow starting at 4:30 with boys JV to kick the night off.

Girls Subdistrict is out!

LVSS will travel to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE) to play Clarkson/Leigh on Monday night for a 6:30 PM tipoff.

Congrats to Marinn Meyer and the Fremont Public Schools Bowling Team for earning State Runner Up! Way to go!!

A few schedule change reminders:

1) Tonight (2/12) JV girls will play 4 quarters instead 3.

2)Tomorrows (2/13) JV girls contest against Bancroft-Rosalie has been canceled due to numbers.

3) Boys and Girls Reserve tournament for Saturday (2/14) has been canceled.

4) Boys JV tipoff for Saturday (2/14) has been moved to 3:30 PM with Varsity to follow

Our Intro to Ag classes kicked off their floral design unit this week. For most students, this was their first time creating a floral arrangement, and they did an awesome job making small arrangements for some of our staff members.

5th Grade HAL students are the 2025-2026 RESTORE Quiz Bowl Champions! Excellent work, Raiders!
