Today Mr. Panning drives his last bus route. Started driving in August of 1991 and is an absolute pleasure to work with. Officially doesn’t retire until January. We will miss his humor and his compassion for our kids.
Due to circumstances beyond our control (host school workers/officials/facilities), the holiday basketball tournament will now be played on Wednesday, 12/28 & Thursday, 12/29. Boys will play at 11:30am & Girls at 1:00 on 12/28. Game times on 12/29 will depend on results on 12/28.
Due to the weather forecast, Logan View Public Schools will be dismissing at 1:30 today. Buses will run accordingly.
Due to the potential for extreme temperatures and blizzard like conditions, Logan View Public Schools will be close on Thursday, December 22nd.

The reserve girls & boys basketball games at Lyons Decatur tonight have been postponed. We will update everyone if/when the games are rescheduled. Practice will still take place until 5:30 this evening.
CLOSE UP: Account balance sheets will be sent home with students prior to winter break. Final payments are due NO LATER than January 6th, 2023. Checks can be made to Logan View HS.

Logan View NHS members provided service to Douglas County over the weekend. Quality time was spent with kittens at the Felius Cafe, https://felius.org/ (kittens are waiting to be adopted) and served food for the homeless at the Siena Francis House, https://sienafrancis.org/
Quick reminder: The Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Elementary Program has been postponed due to mechanical issues in the elementary building. Don't forget to let grandparents and other fans know! Dates are being looked at for a possible rescheduling. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to mechanical issues the elementary school is without heat. K-6 students will not have school Monday, December 19th. The music concert is postponed. 7-12 students will have a regular school day.
