Logan View FCCLA worked with Nebraska Extension in Dodge County to bring a Little Free Pantry to the Hooper community.
During the month of October, FCCLA members collected 829 non-perishable items through their annual Trick or Treat for Cans and Raider Time competition. The items collected will be used to stock the pantries on a need-by basis.
The pantry in Hooper is located on the corner of Main Street and Elk, on the side of the Library. Thank you to the City of Hooper and Larry Klahn (Red's Welding) for working to get the pantry up and secure. The pantry is stocked and ready for those who may need it.
Watch for one in Uehling to come soon.
