
Our FFA Members were busy in September and October! Students had the opportunity to compete at the District Dairy Judging and the Leigh Livestock Judging Contest.
At the Dairy Evaluation, our junior team received 1st place, with Brooke Wiese winning the district! Brenden, Hannah, Kaylee, and Chaise were all in the top 20 as well. Our senior team received 3rd, with Gracie and Chase in the top 20 individuals!
At the Leigh contests, Our Junior team placed 12th out of 42 teams and our Senior team placed 5th out of 28 teams. Notable Junior division placings are Emerson Petersen with 5th place and Jaxson Morris with 45th. Our Seniors had all 4 team members in the top 50 with Meredith Ruda receiving 18th, Chase Hartman receiving 24th, Ty Petersen receiving 30th, and Gracie Reynolds receiving 48th.

A few of our Agriculture and STS students had the opportunity to attend the Platte Valley Equipment Cornerstone Day. Here, students learned about what it takes to be a service technician. Thank you, Platte Valley, for giving students an education and hands-on experience!

LVSS volleyball falls to Ft Calhoun 3-0.

Raiders drop a close second set 26-24 to the Pioneers.

LVSS Volleyball team will take on the Wayne Bluedevils at the C1-5 subdistricts tournament at Clarkson. They play at 4:30 on Monday, October 28th.


Tonight our Raiders take on the Fort Calhoun Pioneers! C Team starts at 5, followed by JV, then Varsity. We will honor all volleyball player parents and seniors before the varsity game. Don't forget to wear your pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!
