Question: What is our plan "B" if the bond doesn't pass. Answer: There are mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues that will need addressed. These repairs and updates will cost millions of dollars. The district will have to increase the levy in the building fund to generate enough money to pay for these items. These repairs are in the locker rooms, dome gym, Ag, Business and Health classrooms. If the district were to manage these projects(CTE, Loop, Secure Entrance et...) through a Lease Purchase every 7 years. Assumes your valuation will grow enough that the amount you are able to Lease Purchase goes up by $2MM every 7 years. At 4.00% inflation the SAME projects would not be completed until 2052, and instead of $30MM the total cost would be $50,078,800 (not counting interest).
