All boys session tickets need to be turned into coach Amen or the HS Office, and all girls session tickets need to be turned into coach Baird or the HS Office both by the end of the school day Thursday December 4th. -- They may also be brought to the Logan View vs West Point-Beamer dual Thursday evening starting at 6pm. If bringing them to the dual take them to the head scorers tables. Thanks!
Today our LV Art Club visited UNO’s Samuel Bak Museum, where students learned about the life and artwork of Holocaust survivor Samuel Bak through an immersive art education experience, plus a first-hand tour of UNO’s Fine Art Dept. and Gallery. Such a meaningful and motivating day for our young artists!
I wanted to send a quick shoutout to the junior high Girls Wrestling team. Last night at the Oakland-Craig Girls tournament the girls tied for 12th place out of 23 teams. Many of these teams had almost 30 wrestlers compared to our 10! These girls have worked incredibly hard for the past few weeks and have made significant gains as athletes. Many of these girls joined this season with little to no wrestling background and have battled with some of the biggest Junior High teams in the state. Many are finding great success in wins and losses, but all of them are finding success in character development, critical thinking skills, and learning to do things that don't come easy. Our last tournament of the season is Dec 15th at 4:00 pm at Lyons, and I know they would love to see a huge LV Raiders crowd. I could not be more proud of these young athletes!
