September Construction Update at Logan View

September was certainly an eventful month at Logan View! The much-needed rainfall was a welcome sight, but it also created a few challenges for ongoing construction. At times, the amount of precipitation made the south end of the building look more like a small lake than a construction site! (See image above.)

Despite the wet conditions, crews continued to make significant progress on the maintenance building. The building’s shell is now erected, and work has shifted to installing insulation and utilities.

Meanwhile, progress is also underway on the south end of the building. The footings for the new science classroom and shop areas have been poured, with construction of the storm shelter scheduled as the next step.

While the September rains occasionally slowed things down, progress continues at Logan View as the project moves forward!
