Twelve honorees, including Logan View’s own Jordan Larson, will be inducted into the NFHS National High School Hall of Fame on June 29.
As a junior for the Raiders in 2003, Larson averaged 15 kills per game, setting a Class C1 state record and helping Logan View advance to the NSAA State Finals. As a senior, she set another C1 record with 501 kills, leading the Raiders to the NSAA State Semifinals.
During her time at Logan View, Larson also competed with Nebraska Juniors at the USA Junior Olympics Girls Volleyball Championships in 2003, 2004, and 2005, earning All-American honors all three years.
Larson was also a standout athlete in basketball and track and field during her Raider career.
Jordan would go on to have a well-documented and highly decorated career at the University of Nebraska, with the USA Volleyball program, and in professional volleyball. She also spent time as an assistant coach at her college alma mater, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Longtime Logan View coach Bo Krivohlavek reflected on Larson, saying, "Jordan knew who she wanted to be and what she wanted to accomplish from a very young age. She would walk around the gym and tell people she was going to play for Nebraska and play in the Olympics. She is not only the most influential athlete to ever come out of Logan View. She is the most influential female athlete in Nebraska history."
Congratulations, Jordan, on your induction to the NFHS National High School Hall of Fame! Raider Nation is proud of you!
