What Is Mindfulness Meditation?

Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice that teaches you to slow down racing thoughts, let go of negativity, and calm both your mind and body. It combines meditation with the practice of mindfulness, which can be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7yFvd7_KVw

During difficult times it's especially important to take time to check in with our emotions.

Square Breathing  Box breathing, sometimes called square breathing, is a simple tool for managing anxiety. A racing heart, rapid breathing, and dizziness can make people with anxiety feel out of control. Controlled, slow breaths can support a regained sense of control, offering relief from anxiety and panic attacks.  (Navy SEALs use the Square (Box) Breathing technique. Navy SEALs are frequently placed in high-stress situations. Box breathing is a valuable mindfulness technique that can aid in stress management and overall wellness. Box breathing is just one of the techniques used by Navy SEALs to stay calm.)
