SkillsUSA is a student-led, leadership organization that strives to give students the skills needed to be professionals and work skills after graduation. SkillsUSA works with many different career paths, anything from the skilled trades such as plumbing and welding to the medical field with Nursing and Basic Health Care Skills and other career paths, including cosmetology.

At Logan View, we are a smaller organization that is growing rapidly with our first state champion/ national qualifier (Madison Klein in Basic Health Care Skills) and our first state officer (Christian Leinart) being elected just last year. As of last year, we also had two other medalists (Cynthia Carter 3rd in Firefighting and Eric Vogel 3rd in First Aid) with several other students finishing in the top 10 of their respective contests.

State Leadership Conference

We are currently preparing for our state conference on April 10-12, 2025.  During our state conference, several Logan View students will demonstrate these skills against other chapters in the state for a chance to be a state champion.  

Fundraisers

We will be raising funds to attend the state conference. Please look out for our pie sales that we run during the month of March (exact dates to come). All pies will be delivered before Easter weekend!
