Dance

The dance team entertains spectators during halftime of home football and boys' basketball games. Routines are a combination of self-choreographed dances and dances learned at a four-day summer dance camp. Another role of the dance team is to work in cooperation with the cheer team to support the Raider athletic teams and encourage school spirit.
Dance team is a year-round commitment beginning with try-outs in the spring. Over the summer, dancers attend camp, co-host the Fourth of July Fun Run with the cheer team, march in Hooper's Fourth of July parade and the Dodge County Fair parade, and participate in various fundraisers. In the fall, dancers sponsor the "pink out" night at a football game to raise funds for breast cancer charities. In addition to dancing at home basketball games, the team also organizes and leads a Little Raiders Dance Camp for elementary students. The elementary students learn dance fundamentals and a routine that they perform with the high school dancers at a basketball game.
