SEVENTH GRADE EXPLORATORY CLASSES
Logan View has expanded the exploratory block for seventh grade. Over the course of the school year, students will spend one quarter in the following investigative subject areas:
Foods and Consumer Science engages students in personal finance, child development, relationships, food and nutrition basics, and textiles. Look for a freshly-sewn zipper pouch to come home with your student!
College Exploration encourages students to inspect continuing their education beyond high school. Students have the opportunity to research 2-year and 4-year colleges that capture their interest. They examine public and private schools. It is a great way to get students thinking about their future!
Health class assists students as they discover paths to physical wellness and socio-emotional wellness.  Students enhance skills in decision-making and goal setting for strengthening their overall well-being.
Music Appreciation and Dance exposes students to musical genres such as classical, modern, pop, and jazz. They will expand their musical vocabulary and study the history of music and dance. Students will even learn a few line dances. Be sure to ask for a demonstration at home!
