The Logan View School Counseling Office hosted an amazing variety of career presenters on Monday, April 25th.  Our guests shared their chosen career path with students and helped them to see the steps necessary to get to their particular positions, as well as the ups and downs of their current jobs.  Students were able to choose sessions in their interest areas and gather information to help them as they continue discerning the path they will pursue in the future. 

Career paths included the following:  Animal Training and Care--Amber Wobken; Auto Repair---Gene Steffy Auto Service; Auto-Body Collision work---Metro Community College; Real Estate Agent---Mark Ruwe; Physical Therapist---Casey Wisnieski; Construction Trades--Metro Community College; Health Services--Nye Services representatives; Agriculture careers--Precision Ag Northeast Community College; Lawyer--Dylan Dam; Ag-Equipment---Platte Valley Equipment; Linemen---OPPD Joe Kreifels, Dave Tonjes; Traveling Nurse and Medical Services---RTG Karna Dam; US Army; US Air Force; US Marines; US Army National Guard; and an HVAC, electrical, and other trades trailer from Metro Community College. 

Junior High students spent the afternoon learning in the STEM Lab brought in by Nebraska Extension Office; Education Quest Sessions, Career Readiness lessons, and a Mindfulness session to help support strong mental health.
