NEW FACE IN OUR SCHOOL COUNSELING OFFICE

Shannon Pille is the new School Counseling intern for the 2021-2022 school year. She is from Oakland, NE and graduated from Wayne State College in 2020 with her degree in Human Service Counseling. Shannon is currently a second-year graduate student at Wayne State College studying PK-12 School Counseling. For her internship year, Shannon is a member of the ESU2 Mental Health Professional Partnership (MHPP) team in Fremont. The MHPP works with school districts to build comprehensive school mental health systems that serve elementary, middle, and high school youth. Logan View is a part of the MHPP consortium this school year, along with 5 other participating school districts within the ESU2. Shannon is excited to provide mental health services, including screening and assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and support, behavior support, resource sharing and collaboration and consultation with school staff. She will be working alongside school psychologist, Stephanie Scheer throughout the 2021-2022 school year. When Shannon is not working or attending classes, she’s planning for her wedding in June and enjoys boating, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. Welcome to Logan View, Shannon!
