These are important sites that support learning in our classroom.
Use this portion to gain online access to important websites to support learning in the fifth grade.

Khan Academy
Your child can access the Khan Academy to support extended learning for math. All of the students have been assigned a username and password. You may use their pearsonsuccessnet.com login information to gain access. This will work for most students, there are a few that have different login information, but they know who they are.

This is a website that is used in class to help support students with all kinds of math skills. Please check this out. It has games and online tutorials to help the the students introduce, learn, and master skills from lower grades all of the way up through high school content.

Pearson Success Net (Reading Street)
We will use this site for our reading class. We use it to learn more about our stories, vocabulary, and use it for our testing. The students will be able to preread or listen to all stories, practice their vocabulary, watch video clips of the reading skills, gain access to leveled readers, and much more.

The students have been given their login information. It is listed in the front of their planners. Contact Mrs. Uehling if you have misplaced this information.

Students can go to this site for interactive flashcards to use for studying at home. I will provide the students with a paper copy of the flashcards the day prior to the test, but they can use this site for things we are studying in class. They can also search the site for other content areas. They may make their own flashcards if they login with their own email addresses. I hope you find this useful!

The students may use this website to gain access to their weekly spelling lists. They will need to know the story for the week so they can study the correct words. The lists are sent home in Friday folders one week in advance.
