Class Information Sheet- Agribusiness Employment Instructor: Mr. Dan Mowinkel Content: Agribusiness Employment is a course designed to give hands-on experience and training to prepare students to enter any agribusiness in the community or to continue an agriculture career pursuit in college or a tech school. The primary activities of the course include: finding and applying for a job, human relations, business procedures, advertising, and farm business organizations. Classroom expectations: You are expected to contribute to and maintain simple guidelines of conduct. -Be to class on time -Come to class prepared every day -Raise your hand and -Leave the room in better shape wait to be called on to then how you found it speak Grading: Your grade in Agribusiness Employment will be determined by the number of points you earn out of the number of points possible. Points are assigned in the following manner. Daily Assignments……………100 points Current Events……………….. 50 points Tests…………………………..100 points Quizes………………………...100 points Special Projects……………….100 points Late Work: Any assignment not handed in at the time it is due is considered late unless it is an excused absence. There is a 10-point deduction for every day that the assignment is late. You have a total of five school days to hand in late work.
