Welcome to the 2021/2022 school year.

My name is Shannon Conant, and I am new here at Logan View.  I grew up in and around the Lincoln area, graduated from Gretna, and moved to Omaha after High School.  I graduated in 2001 from College of St. Mary and then went on to attend Peru State College where I earned my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.

After teaching for three years in Cedar Rapids, NE, I relocated to Manning, SC where I taught for seven years.  Deciding it was time to travel, I moved to Cameroon, Africa for two years and then Guangzhou, China for four years.  Living abroad allowed me the opportunity to travel and experience cultures from a variety of countries.

I currently live in Omaha, NE with my furrbaby Tripod.  I rescued this 3-legged cat while living in China.  We aren't sure how she lost her leg, but she gets around just fine without it.  She loves sitting by the window soaking in the sun.  The first picture below was taken at our apartment in Guangzhou.

I have one daughter and two granddaughters who currently live in Beaufort, SC.  They just recently relocated back to the states after living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for four years.
