Getting to Know Mr. Streeter
I have been in the teaching profession since the fall of 2016. I also entered the coaching profession at the high school level since the fall of 2010.
I am a 2006 graduate of Ord High School in Ord, NE. This is where I was born and raised. I was a 4 sport athlete in High School which included Football (4 years), Wrestling (3 years, 2x State Qualifier), Track (4 years) and Baseball (4 years) in the summer through the legion association. I am the son of a 40+ year coach so the sports culture has come natural to me. I was also heavily involved in non sports activities which included Choir (4 years), Band/Marching Band (4 years), Show Choir (4 years) and Jazz Band (3 years). I was also selected as an All State Choir participant 1 year as well.
After high school I chose to forgo any athletics at the next level and chose to go to UNK where I spent some time in and out of college and ultimately ended up graduating 2016, with a degree in Physical Education, K-12 endorsed.
My first job out of college was a short 4 year stint out in western Nebraska at a school named Hershey. Prior to that I spent 6 years coaching at Wood River in all 3 sports.
I am married to my wife, Morgan, who has just recently been hired by our district to be a 1st grade teacher (2022-23). We have 2 kids. Our son, Kanon, will be 5 this summer and our daughter, Karsyn, just turned 1 in March 2022.
My non teaching responsibilities at Logan View.
