Life; it's all Biology!

Welcome to Mr. Ready's page! Mr. Ready teaches Biology, Advanced Biology, and Physical Science at Logan View High School. This is his 7th year of teaching after working 20 years as a farmer and Agronomist. His philosophy is that all science is based on inquiry- asking questions and striking out into the unknown to seek answers.

What is Biology?

Life is all about Biology! If you eat, you live biology. If you think, you use Biology. If you breathe, you use Biology.

Understanding Biology includes insight into our environment, both the living and non living components. Everything from food production to human health is dependant on understanding Biology. As a field of study, Biology has progressed and changed dramatically over the last twenty years, without even mentioning the previous one hundred years!

Our goal should be to provide our students with an updated curriculum that better prepares them to become the leaders and decision makers for the next generation. Well prepared people make decisions using accurate knowledge. In order to achieve this goal we strive of update and change as the field of Biology continues to progress in understanding of the functions of life.

On this page we will provide updated unit plans in order to keep all of our patrons informed of what our students are learning.
