Certified school personnel strive to provide a nurturing, challenging and disciplined learning environment for Logan View students.*  In addition to K-12 classroom instruction in critical academic skills and subjects, a team of student support staff members further promotes the academic and social growth and development of Logan View students through specialized programs and services available from birth to age 21.

An alphabetical certified staff directory as well as elementary, secondary, specialized services, and administration subdirectories are available. Non-certified staff, who also perform vital school functions, are a separate support directory.

All certified staff directories have an individual name link, which will redirect you to a corresponding personal page with an e-mail address. To e-mail an individual, copy and paste the e-mail address text from his/her personal page into the 'To' field of your e-mail software. This procedure safeguards the security of the district's computer network and accommodates all patrons' personal computer systems.

While parents and guardians of Logan View students may speak with faculty to discuss classroom or school activities concerns during the school day, phone or personal appointments must be prearranged because certified staff are actively engaged with student instruction, guidance and/or supervision throughout the day.

  • Certified staff at grades K, 1 and 5-12  have individual phone extensions equipped with voice mail. Phone numbers have been added to individuals personal pages.
  • Arrange to speak with certified staff at grades 2,3 and 4, via the elementary office at 654-3315. The Hooper elementary building doesn't have an automated phone system.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in the district's formal parent-teacher conferencing  program; these conferences are routinely and purposefully scheduled to provide early intervention and to promote student success, approximately a quarter of the way through each half term of the academic year.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to

  • ask for the regular school communications entrusted with students for home delivery
  • review their students' homework folders and planners,
  • read the monthly school newsletter mailed to all district patrons,
  • access PowerSchool™ parent information and other school news and information from the district's web site [ www.loganview.org ].

All of these communications tools provide families with continuous, timely information regarding their students' progress and opportunities.

*Certified employees are those faculty and staff required to hold an appropriate certificate from the Nebraska Department of Education for their position as required by the Professional Practices Commission or others with professional licenses.
