Close-Up
The Close-Up program is an annual field trip opportunity for Logan View Juniors to visit Washington D.C. During the week-long trip -- March 21-26, 2010 -- students will see our federal government in action and visit prominent buildings, monuments, memorials and museums in our nation's capitol.
The sponsor for the 2010 Close-Up travel experience is Vanessa Tanderup.
Junior students are participating in numerous fundraising activities to help defray their costs.
- staffing the concession stand at home volleyball and some basketball games,
- sponsoring a halftime "pop shots" basketball contest
- selling Schwan's merchandise
- selling raffle tickets for cash prize giveaways on Jan. 15, 2010
- sponsoring a pancake feed Jan. 24, 2010
All proceeds are distributed equally among students -- 22 this year.
The Junior Class continues to thank its hometown communities for their fundraiser participation and for outright cash and in-kind contributions. If you would like to make a cash contribution, you are invited to send a personal check to:
