Mrs. Moeller's Website Recommendations
by Amy Moeller
These are some good websites for practicing the skills on which we are working in fourth grade. There are many more good sites, but these are the ones I have found that best fit our studies. You can enter the addresses in your browser or click on the links below to go to the sites. Students in both 4th grade homerooms may use these sites.
I have all the spelling lists entered by unit and week number and by the weekly story title. Students can practice the words and play some games with them! I do not subscribe to the site so the premium activities are not available. You do not need a user name or password.
This is the website connected with the reading/language arts series. I sent the user names and passwords home with my homeroom students earlier in the year. Practice vocabulary, watch the Grammar Jammer videos and the comprehension skills videos, read the stories, and more.
This is a great site for social studies and all other subjects. The U.S. geography games are especially helpful in studying the locations of the 50 states. Start with the tutoring lessons and progress through the expert level. It has good math, reading, English, and science lessons and games, too!
This site links to sites giving information about each state. It's a good one to use when researching for the 50 States Fair!
