topIn addition to physical education classes, Logan View offers an enriching variety of sports programs in which students may participate. These extracurricular activity programs are considered an integral part of the school’s program of education, helping students to develop and mature physically, mentally and emotionally.*
Each sport has its own entrance to rosters, records and image galleries. All sports teams share a common news page. News articles are frequently reprinted from the Raider Report (district newsletter), the Rustler Sentinel (serving the Hooper-Scribner area for more than 100 years), or other regional newspapers. Roster pages for 2009-2010 are in progress. Patrons may find high school sports information at the remote Web site highschoolsports.net. Similarly, the Nebraska School Activities Association Web site is a great resource for information on all school activities.
*The element of competition and winning, though it exists, does not determine the nature or success of sports programs. Students are stimulated to want to win and excel, but principles of good sportsmanship prevail at all times.
