It's a red, white and blue jersey salute to a hometown girl turned volleyball sports celebrity sponsored by the Logan View Athletic Boosters Thursday.
Nebraska Husker All-American and LVHS alum Jordan Larson will be honored during the Thursday home volleyball game against DC West. Recognition ceremonies will begin about 6:30 p.m.
Lady Husker and Jordan Larson enthusiasts may purchase glossy, full-color volleyball books from a limited supply donated by the Lincoln Journal Star and have these personally autographed by Jordan. Full-color posters are also available for purchase and signing. All book and poster sales proceeds go to the Susan G Komen for the Cure organization in her mother’s name, Kae Clough.
Larson now plays volleyball for the USA Team, and will just be returning from an overseas international tournament competition. So, let's give her a huge Raider welcome home!

football fans will get a booster shot of nostalgia and school pride Friday night in conjunction with scheduled play.
Friday evening features a Raider Gridiron Reunion prior to the first home football game against Oakland-Craig. Former coaches and players will be treated to a 5 p.m. tailgate along with admission to the game. Former coach Larry Sheehan will speak at the tailgate.
