FFA Livestock Teams Qualify for State

Logan View FFA teams recently went to Northeast Community College (Norfolk) to participate in the District III Livestock Judging contest.
Each school could bring two teams to compete in the contest, with the top six schools qualifying for State Livestock Judging in April.
Contestants had to place eight classes of livestock, then evaluate three sheep, three pigs and three calves, and evaluate a cull/keep class of gilts. Senior team members had to give three sets of oral reasons.
