Letters* are awarded to student athletes at the annual Athletic Banquet, sponsored by the Sports Booster Club in May. During the sports programs for the 2009-10 school year, 71 student athletes earned a letter, often lettering in multiple seasonal sports. Some received additional recognition from area, region and state entities like the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA), the East Husker Conference of coaches (EHC), the Lincoln Journal Star (LJS) and the Omaha World Herald (OWH).
