NHS Welcomes 9 New Members

Nine new members were taken into the Logan View chapter of the National Honor Society during induction ceremonies held Nov. 12.
New members include senior Jodi Popken; juniors Brooke Ellerman, Leah Harmon, Jud Hoffschneider, Marisa Ruwe, Austin Peterson and Abby Stollbreg; and sophomores Kylie Hoegermeyer and Nate McCormick.
Secondary principal Rochelle Clausen welcomed members, inductees and guests.
Logan View alumna Jill Kruger Brown was the keynote speaker. As student leaders in the school and its hometown communities, Kruger stressed that members frequently ask themselves two things--who do I inspire and what are my goals.
NHS advisor Patti Kraus closed the program with an address that let members know how often teachers have been inspired by their leadership, service and character.
