Four new faces will welcome Logan View students to the 2009-10 academic year: Elementary Principal Dana Schultz, Assistant Secondary Principal and Activities Director Jon Dolliver, Secondary English Instructor Elizabeth Gillis, and Secondary Physical Education Instructor Rob Bishop.

Schultz's home town is Clarks. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and his Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Wayne State College. Schultz brings to Logan View 20 previous years of school experiences, having taught sixth grade for five years at Battle Creek before moving into the elementary principalship, an administrative position he held for six additional years. Schultz was also the elementary principal at Pierce for nine years. Schultz has four children, ages 22, 20, 18 and 16.

Jon Dolliver received his BA degree from Wayne State in 2000 and later his MA from Doane. Dolliver and wife Amber have four children, three daughters ranging in age from 9 to under a year and a son age 9. The family currently resides in Elkhorn where Amber is employed with the school district.

Elizabeth Gillis graduated from North Bend Central High School in 2000, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her BA degree in 2005, and from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Gillis completed her student teaching at Logan View before accepting her first teaching position at Lyons-Decatur Northeast. Said Gillis, "I enjoyed the students, parents, staff and faculty at Logan View so much that it's always been in the corner of my mind to find a way back." In addition to literature, writing and drama courses, Gillis's extra duty assignments include one-act competitions and the spring musical.

Rob Bishop hails from Kearney and received his BA in Health and K-12 Physical Education from UN-K. Rob and wife Katie live in Fremont, where she is a gymnastics instructor at the YMCA. Prior to accepting a teaching position at Logan View that also includes the extra duty of assistant wrestling coach, Bishop was a program director at the Fremont YMCA.
