District Music Contest

It has been a very successful year for the music department at Logan View, and that continued at the High School District Music Contest in Yutan April 23.
Band
Congratulations to the High School Band for their 1+
Superior rating at the District Music Contest . The band
was scored at a Superior level by all three judges.
Additionally, many students received superior or excellent ratings on their instrumental solos:

Thank you to all students for your hard work, to Mr. Becher and Mrs. Bartels for their extra time spent with the students, and to the staff for allowing the extra practice time to help these students be successful. Thank you also to Mr. Bishop for the use of the gym for band and choir rehearsals.
And thank you everyone for your continued support of the music program. Some of the credit for this year's successes belong to each and every one of you who rehearse, perform, accompany, fund raise and -certainly not least- attend our concerts and contests.
