Problem-Solver Challenge
During the month of February, Kindergarten through 6th grader students are participating in a “Problem-Solver Challenge.” Mr. Mekelburg has provided many lessons on character this year and recently talked to students about the difference between “Problem-Makers” and “Problem-Solvers.” So, with all this knowledge we decided to challenge all elementary students to be problem-solvers. Each week of February teachers and clubhouse staff will pick two or three students who have shown good character, helped to solve problems at school, or do not create new problems for others. Those students will receive a “Problem-Solver” award, take a picture to put on the website, and spend time with other problem-solvers and Mr. Mekelburg.
