Welcome to the 2009-10 School Year
Administrators, teachers and support staff at all grade levels and district campuses are excited to welcome students and begin a new academic year. Logan View Public Schools will begin classes for the 2009-'10 academic year on Monday, August 17.
Students will have half-day schedules Monday and Tuesday, August 17 and 18. Students in grades 7-12 will begin classes at 8:20 AM and dismiss at 11:40 AM. Elementary classes will begin at 8:30 AM; elementary students will dismiss at 11:30 AM at the Hooper grades 2-4 attendance center and at 11:35 AM at the County Road G campus.
Students participating in the breakfast program may enter buildings at 8:00 AM; all other students may enter at 8:15 AM.
Students will begin regular full-day schedules on Wednesday, August 19. For junior and senior high students, the school day will begin 5 minutes earlier and dismiss 5 minutes later. Parents/guardians are also reminded that the August 2009 Raider Report, mailed to households earlier this month, contains essential information and supplemental forms to ensure students are prepared to begin the school year.
